Are they Really Compressing?Mar 01, 2010
By Wendy St Clair Pearson I think people who love these shorts either bought them one size small or have a brand loyal thing going. As I've been running longer distances lately, I decided to treat myself to two pair of leg-saving compression shorts. I bought these as well as a pair of McDavids women's compression shorts the same week. Comparing the two, the McDavids kick butt over these as far as comfort and compression. However the downside of the McDavid's is that they are NOT opaque enough to wear solo without attracting an unsavory crowd of fans. These in comparison to McDavids were $10 more, and very loose - aka my butt still jiggled more than I desired. They also don't have a crotch panel, and I found I was constantly adjusting myself during my run. The good news is these are plenty opaque so you can wear them without anything else on top. But if you really want to compress your "junk in your trunk", I'd recommend the McDavids over these. Or maybe just buy one of each as I did.

Exercise support...just enoughJun 22, 2008

These shorts are great to wear under your training gear. They provide just enough support to your legs to help you through rigorous training schedules. In addition, they are ultra comfortable and great on hot days to control body temperature. I highly recommend these shorts for the serious athlete. I wear them both for soccer and speed workouts on the track.

FabulousJun 04, 2009
By professional jogger I love these shorts, I am a long distance jogger and I have always had a hard time with friction between the thighs. These are perfect, not too tight or too loose. I definitely recommend them to all my friends. One of my friends plays soccer and another softball and they both love this item to!!

Great addition to your fitness wear!Mar 06, 2010

I love my compression shorts for many reasons and maybe you will too!
ABOUT ME: wear solo or layered. used during jogging (not an intense runner), biking, p90x, home DVDs, sports.
TEMP CONTROL: when it's hot, i don't feel moisture and heat problems like just wearing normal spandex type of shorts. when it's cold, i wear this under my workout shorts (basketball shorts, gym shorts, track pants) and the snugness keeps out the cold air. when it's really cold (this winter), i wear it under my jeans :)
FIT: nice and snug. I don't think they stretch out too much (at least my experience with the 3 pairs that I own). I don't put them in the dryer so i don't know if they shrink (not necessary - air dry). they will shift slightly while running, playing basketball, etc. but not much where it becomes a problem. In my size 14/16 days, the XL fit nice n snug..just fyi..throwing it out there for y'all to know :)
LENGTH: make sure you know that you are getting the 7" ones, not the shorter 4". For me, these longer runs don't ride up like the 4" ones do but I believe that is because of my physique perhaps more than the shorts. But if you're in my boat... something to consider.
ADDITIONAL BONUS: for those of you out there who might wear basketball shorts, tennis shorts or any kind of free flowing shorts...it adds security. The last thing you need at the gym while working out your quads, hams, glutes or whatever on those machines is to worry about whether or not someone can see too much skin.

Great ShortsJan 20, 2009

These shorts are light weight and super comfortable. I only wish I would have gotten a pair with a short inseam (I'm 5'4"). That's my own fault though. I highly recommend these!
