5Standard Youth VolleyballNov 06, 2008
By M. Lonsdale "lons65"
I coach youth volleyball. These are the same balls we use during practice and games for our JV team. They are made for indoor use, but my daughter uses hers outside all the time and it has held up. I would suggest using these for 6th grade girls and lower. Once the girls move up to 7th grade and beyond, they should be using a regular weight volleyball. Be careful with the pictures .. I ordered what appeared to be a magenta ball .. turned out to be red/scarlet. Be sure to check the descriptive text once it is in your in-tray.

5Love this volleyball!!!!May 15, 2007
By Allan Mcdonald "kcmomof2"
I got this volleyball for my ten year old who just started playing on a team this year. I wish they had these balls when I was starting out in grade school. The ball is a little lighter than the standard volleyball which makes it easier for the younger kids to hit the ball over the net. It is also a little more cushioned so it doesn't hurt as bad to hit.

5Feel Good BallJan 15, 2009
By Andrew
I normally use the Tachikara sv5w leather ball, but I bought this lighter ball for my 7yr old daughter. In the summer she used an adult beach volleyball with me but those balls are much too heavy for her.

I bought this lighter ball so it is easier for her to learn how to play. It is soft/cushiony for kids and has a lively bounce to it when you bump it. I'm very happy with the quality of the ball. It's not one of the cheap plastic like balls you can get for kids.

5Excellent VolleyballMar 26, 2012

My daughter's club team uses this model and brand as a tournament game-ball so we had to have one to practice with at home. Well constructed and soft as a feather!!

I purchased this for my 10 year old daughter. The texture and feel of this volleyball is ideal for a younger player--no sting on the wrists when volleying. Very happy with this purchase.
