Good Quality BinocularMar 06, 2011

I believe that the Pentax 8 x 36 Dcf Nv is a good pair binoculars. However, I am disappointed in a few things about it. First, I'm disappointed that I can not see through them with my glasses on. The 16 mm eye relief is just not enough, at least not for me. Second, I found the right eye focus adjustment very difficult to make when looking through the binoculars; of course once you finally get it set you really should never have to change it again if you are the only one using these binoculars. If these binoculars are to have multiple users, they should be made a little easier to adjust. Although these binoculars can't be readily attached to a tripod, they are threaded for attachment of an adapter which can then be used to mount them on a tripod. I have such an adapter for another (larger) pair of binoculars, but unfortunately that adapter is too wide to fit between the two barrels of this Pentax model. I hope to find an adapter that fits or will eventually make one myself.
