5More than I expectedJul 13, 2007
By Daniel Knarr "IBVETTEN"
Park and sun make so many models. I vasilated between buying a cheaper set or spending the xtra bucks on the better grade, higher priced model. I'm sure glad I went with the Spectrum 2000. It arrived in good shape and very quickly (4days). I was not given a choice on what color.I was concerned because I read another person got an orange one. To my suprise I got a blue and thats the color I wanted. The poles were thicker and telescopic to three hights, the othes didn't offer this feature. The pins were 10 in. most others were 8 inches. This made a difference in staking out the poles in soft soil. It went up in a very short time. Very easy to take down and put up. The carry bag is convient to transport to my son's home as well as the beach. I an quite pleased and feel I got more than I even ecpected.

3Great net.......BAD poles for sand volleyballAug 23, 2007
By M. Byrne "Games Player"
I received my net in a very timely manner, and I was greatly looking forward to a long weekend away at the beach with some daily volleyball games. Day 1 went fine. Day 2 was not quite as fun, at least with the set-up of the net/poles. The telescopic poles do NOT slide in and out easily if even the slightest bit of sand sticks to the poles. My set is now in a temporary 'not usable' status until I can unstick the poles or have new ones sent to me. I am in the process of trying to get in touch with the company currently to rectify the situation. The net itself though is excellent and one that I hope will stand the test of time.

5Great Beach Net SystemJul 26, 2006
By NYC Guy
Park and Sun makes a variety of nets in different price ranges, but this is a great choice! We have been using these nets for our annual beach volleyball tournament for at least 5 years. The Spectrum 2000 is a solid, sturdy net system for competitive volleyball play and will last for years.

4Watch out for the poles!!!Jun 27, 2008
By M. Orlando
I bought my Spectrum 2000 in July of 07. The system worked great the entire summer and into the current summer of 08. The net is awesome and comes already assembled. The pull down guylines are amazingly easy to set up and tighten the net. My buddies and I play everyday at the beach for about 3 hours a day...

HOWEVER! Please please watch out for the poles. Sand sticks to them very easily making it very hard for the poles to slide easily in and out. Also, and what has recently happened to one of my poles, the sliding pole was jammed up under the eyebolt and the pole can not be released. I have tried many options in freeing the pole but nothing has worked. What I would do if I was you is to just keep the poles separated when not playing. The carrying bag makes for easy transportation even with the poles separated.

4great net, but...Jul 14, 2009
By J Man
This is a great net. It worked in sand no problem. The bottom of the net doesn't get supper tight, but it is by no means loose. If you do read the instructions, they say to separate the poles when not in use. Nothing against amazon, but I ended up needing another net the day of and had to go to a local store. I found another Park and Sun net, the Spectrum 1000. It was cheaper than this one, and the only differences I could find between them was the 1000 had cheaper steaks, and also came with a ball and pump. So as far as I can tell, this net is a 1000 rebranded with a higher price. I can't find the 1000 on amazon, so it must have been discontinued. With this in mind, I would say try to find the 1000, or shell out for the Spectrum Classic.
